                <text>The development of energies from renewable sources and the increase in electricity consumption will require new solutions to maintain the levels of service, quality of voltage and availability of electricity networks. A tailor made role for power electronics. The objective of this work on this paper is the remediation of the problem caused by the injection of harmonics discharged by the non-linear load (i.e. by the rectifier in our case). This remediation consists in reducing as much as possible the impurities diffused in the electrical network. For this we used a Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) as a perfect solution by eliminating all harmonics one by one. In this article, we have proposed a control technique on the voltage inverter, it is the technique "Synchronous Reference Frame -SRF" and an MPPT regulator on the photovoltaic generator which is used as a continuous source of the SAPF, it is the “Sliding Mode Control- SMC” technique. The simulation results obtained under MATLAB / Simulink clearly showed us that the system sizing choices, as well as the control techniques are efficient and according to the international standard recommendations IEEE519-92 (The total Harmonic Distortion is less than 5 percent).</text>

                <text>The building sector is among the most energy consumer with 42 %, it absorbs 44% of the total final energy consumption, the major part of housing, which currently exceeds eight (8) million homes, are "obsolete" in terms of energy efficiency, As a result, energy demand for residential buildings are of a very high level, Unfortunately Algeria faces to major energy challenges, his dependence of fossil resources oil and gas price drop, and the increases of the consumption. The needs of the building sector will be multiplied by 2.7 while the tertiary sector will increase its power consumption by 3.2 ,an increase of 40% relative to current consumption, The policy of energy efficiency in Algeria was concretized by adoption of the new renewable energy program and energy efficiency by 2030, program Eco-bat, the aim is reducing the high consumption in this sector, a new version of thermal regulation for buildings 2016 to introduce a minimum requirement for new buildings, to optimize their heating and cooling needs while improving the high quality of comfort, launching a labelling certificate for equipment’s, the building sector represents an energy saving potential of 38%,there are a lot of options to improve efficiency in building , focus to use of renewable energy in heating, cooling and electricity, improvement to the building envelope ,including materials ,natural ventilations and delighting, As a result, this indicates the urgent need to adopt a policy and strategy to reduce the excessive use of energy in buildings. In the light of the current global challenge of energy which calls for the development of sustainable economies, this paper analyses the approach efficiency policy in the Algerian building, and suggest improvement to reduce the gap between the policy of government and the real situation.</text>

                <text>Ce travail a pour but d'analyser l'influence de la présence d'un comble sur la consommation énergétique d'une construction. Des essais ont donc été menés sur une construction avec comble implantée à Bou Ismail au sein de l'Unité de Développement des Equipements Solaires (UDES). L’étude du comportement thermique de cette construction a été réalisée pendant les périodes hivernale et estivale. Des températures d'air de différentes zones thermiques de la construction ont été relevées et ont été comparées aux températures d'air calculées à partir d'un modèle numérique réalisé en utilisant le logiciel TRNSYS. Un modèle numérique calibré a pu ainsi être obtenu et a été utilisé pour réaliser différentes simulations numériques en faisant varier le taux de ventilation du comble. Les résultats des simulations ont permis de montrer que la diminution des besoins de climatisation est proportionnelle à l’augmentation du taux de ventilation du comble en été, et que la diminution des besoins de chauffage est proportionnelle à la diminution du taux de ventilation du comble en hiver.</text>

                <text>The Algerian electric system consists of the northern interconnected grid, the “Pôle In Salah – Adrar – Timimoun” regional grid and many mini-grids supplying dispersed localities in the Great Algerian South. Although these mini-grids share, as of end-2018, only 4% of the whole country power generation capacity, the huge renewable energies, mainly solar PV, potential availability stimulates, in the framework of the efforts deployed towards a low-carbon energy transition, to integrate PV to existing fossil fuels-based power plants. In this context, this paper presents the first attempt achieved by SKTM, a subsidiary of Sonelgaz, by the integration of PV power plants to the power generation systems supplying Tamanrasset, Tindouf and Djanet localities. Positive outcomes in terms of fuel saving and CO2 emissions reduction which would be retrieved from this first experience are highlighted.</text>

                <text>Currently, variable speed wind systems based on the Brushless Doubly-Fed Induction Machine (BDFIM) are the most used in Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS). The main features of BDFIM are high reliability due to its brushless operating, lower capital and operational costs. This work presents a field-oriented control scheme for a BDFIG acting as a variable-speed generator. The presented vector control is determined on the power-winding stator-flux frame and can be employed to control both the speed and the reactive power. In addition, use of wind speed sensors by an anemometer, and maximize wind energy extraction Tip Speed Ratio (TSR) Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) is proposed. Several simulation results under different operating conditions are provided to prove the effectiveness of the presented scheme. The obtained results show the efficiency and validity of the proposed control strategy.</text>

                <text>The design of a biogas burner for Stirling engines depends on its ability to provide a sufficient heat which is not produced by conventional burners because of the limitation of the contact surface between flame-hot head and the low methane content in the biogas. Therefore, a special microscale combustion chamber for this kind of burner is necessary. In this work, we studied numerically the biogas combustion by a Swiss-roll burner in a small-scale combustor. The temperature distribution versus the biogas injection rate is investigated. A significant increase of the flame temperature is obtained with an improvement of the uniformity of the temperature distribution and the burner efficiency.</text>

                <text>Ce travail présente une étude numérique du stockage de l'énergie thermique par chaleur latente à basses températures (0 °C à 100 °C) dans un lit cylindrique rempli de sphères uniformes, disposées au hasard et contenant chacune un matériau à changement de phase (MCP), traversé par un flux d’air. Un modèle numérique mono dimensionnel à deux phases séparées est appliqué. Il a permis de prédire la distribution axiale de la température du fluide et du matériau fusible le long du lit ainsi que les performances de ce lit fixe dans les deux modes de stockage et de récupération de la chaleur pour une température du fluide à l’entrée constante et un nombre de Reynolds variable. Le modèle développé s’applique à la fois pour un processus de changement de phase isotherme et non isotherme. L’évolution de la température à l’intérieur du lit a permis de déterminer les domaines de stockage les plus efficaces et de définir par conséquent les dimensions optimales de l’unité de stockage.</text>

                <text>On se propose d'étudier numériquement la dispersion d'un polluant constitué d'un mélange de dioxyde de soufre et d'air en régime turbulent autour d’un obstacle bidimensionnel. On traite principalement l'influence de l’orientation de la vitesse du vent sur les caractéristiques dynamiques et thermiques du panache, ainsi que sur la concentration du polluant autour d’un obstacle. La méthode numérique utilisée pour la résolution des équations qui décrivent l’écoulement est une méthode aux volumes finis, le maillage adopté est non uniforme, très resserré près de la cheminée et autour de l'obstacle où il y a des gradients dynamiques, thermiques et massiques importants. Le domaine d'étude considéré, est assez grand pour pouvoir visualiser les recirculations et tourbillons créés par le bâtiment. Les résultats trouvés montrent essentiellement que la présence d’un obstacle modifie l’écoulement, conditionne l'intensité des immissions au niveau du sol et la dispersion du polluant. La direction du vent a un grand effet sur l’évolution du polluant éjecté et par suite sur son impact sur l’environnement immédiat de l’obstacle.</text>

                <text>La réaction de reformage du méthane par le CO2 en gaz de synthèse (H2, CO) a été étudiée sur catalyseurs à base de nickel, cobalt et de terres rares supportés. Les solides catalytiques ont été préparés par imprégnation sèche et caractérisés par absorption atomique et par la diffraction des rayons-X. La production d’hydrogène est remarquablement influencée par la nature de la phase métallique et des supports utilisés. L’ordre décroissent des conversions de CO2 et de CH4 ainsi que la production d’hydrogène des catalyseurs supportés sur silice est : Ru, Ni, Rh, Pt, Co. En revanche, l’activité des catalyseurs supportés sur l’alumine suit la séquence suivante : Rh , Ru, Pt.</text>

                <text>Dans le cadre de cette étude on est confronté à une des situations complexes qui sont rencontrées dans le cas ou le problème physique traité fait appel à deux milieux différents qui sont en influence mutuelle. On suggère un traitement numérique par des méthodes aux différences finies de Crank -Nicolson pour la résolution du problème relatif à un écoulement laminaire instationnaire d’un fluide Newtonien en présence d’un obstacle cylindrique homogène chauffé. Le fluide est injecté dans une conduite verticale présentant un évasement à l’entrée. L’interaction entre le solide et le fluide en évolution ascendante est étudiée pour différentes valeurs du nombre de Reynolds et pour un rapport des conductivités thermiquesls/lf=10-2.</text>
