The study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of  the UTI in elderly people and to determine the most risk factors for serious clinical complications of UTI.  Methodology:  Data of a descriptive cross sectional study were collected from Central Bani Waleed Hospital, 106 UTI patients over 60 year old were involved in this study. Results: The most age group effected with UTI was 70-79 y (35.8%), followed by age group 60-69 y (31.1%). The men old people were more susceptible to UTI than  women one (51.8% and 48.1% respectively), as well as elderly diabetic patients were susceptible to UTI more than non-diabetic (58.4% and 41.5% respectively). E.coli represented the most causative agent of UTI (71.7%). Cystitis (65.09 %) was the most prevalent UTI among elderly than pyelonephritis (34.91%). Conclusion: As the human age progress , the resistance of immune system deficiencies gradually become more susceptible to infectious diseases. The UTI one of these infections that can lead to serious complications in elderly immunocompromised. In addition, the comorbidities factors increase the directly affected of old people to UTI. To acquire these language learners should start with four skills: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Reading is one of the greatest and most thorough methods to learn science and other fields. The researchers began investigating all potential alternatives in an effort to enhance reading comprehension, raise student engagement, and assist students in developing their reading comprehension abilities. They also looked at how reading content impacts understanding in order to improve comprehension and make reading more applicable to daily life. The goal of the study was to ascertain the impact of interactive reading on the development of reading comprehension and to create a framework that would aid students in conceptualizing the participatory approach to teach reading comprehension, which is based on participatory learning theory (PLA). This framework took the form of a collaborative teaching and learning strategy that included a forum, insight, interaction, and task. This paper studied a method of teaching -Participatory Teaching Approach- and apply it on teaching reading comprehension which is a part of the four skills. Based on participatory language teaching, the content of the material goes back to social contexts involving not only sociopolitical issues, but also students’ academic and personal goals. The study was conducted at middle -school in Tobruk. The sample consisted of (36) students, divided into two groups, with (18) students for each group, and the theory was applied into one of the two groups. Based on the questionnaire for both students and teachers and the results of the statistical analysis of the questionnaire. The result shows that; there are no statistically significant differences between the use of participatory learning in teaching reading comprehension and the achievement of the educational level of middle-school students in this school. Students in both groups have positive attitude towards the use of the traditional way and the PLA. And the explanation for that are both ways are effective in improving reading comprehension skill for middle-class students. As a result, a low-cost but effective BLDC motor speed controller is required. They are used in industrial and home appliances with conventional motor drive technology, such as robots, refrigerators and air conditioning systems. Brushless direct current (BLDC) drives are well known for their high efficiency and low maintenance. This work aims to design a non-conventional PID controller via Ant Colony Optimisers (ACO) in order to obtain an efficient speed performance for a BLDC motor "namely, Maxon EC flat". Moreover, when ACO is used for tuning of PID control, the objective function is required. Therefore, in this work, four different objective functions which are MSE, ISE, IAE, and ITAE are applied and their performance was compared in terms of motor' speed stability. In a simulation environment, the PID controller is used to control the speed of BLDC motors under three testing conditions which are Small, medium, and high inertia loads. The simulation results  demonstrate that MSE offers the best performance under low and high inertial loading cases. Whereas,  IAE has been superior compared with other criterions when medium loads are applied. Moreover, this paper shows a stability speed- power consumption trade-off problem. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource د. عبدالسلام مصباح شقلوف Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2023-12-02 Description An account of the resource هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى اقتراح تصور لتطوير أداء رؤساء الأقسام العلمية في الجامعات الليبية جامعة بني وليد كنموذج ، وتم اعتماد المنهج المسحي التطويري لتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة، تكمن أهمية هذه الدراسة في أهمية الدور الذي يقوم به رئيس القسم العلمي الذي يعد العامـل الحاسـم فـي تحقيق أهداف الجامعة والذي يحتم أن يكون لدى رئيس القسم تـصور واضـح لدوره . و يؤمل أن تستفيد من نتائج الدراسة وزارة التعليم العالي في ليبيا و الجامعات الليبية و رؤساء الأقسام العلمية في الجامعات الليبية والباحثين في مجال الإدارة التربوية  حيث تم مسح واقع أداء رؤساء الاقسام العلمية في الجامعات الليبية من خلال اعتماد جامعة بني وليد كنموذج وقد تم اقتراح تصور عملي يهدف إلى تطوير أداء شاغلي الأقسام العلمية، ولجمع البيانات تم تطوير استبانة بهدف تعرف واقع أداء رؤساء الأقسام العلمية بالجامعات الليبية والذين شكلوا مجتمع الدراسة وبلغ عددهم (67) وتم اختيارهم بالكامل حيث كانت الاستبيانات المسترجعة (59) استبانة وتم توزيع الاستبانة عليهم بعد اتمام اجراءات صدقها وثباتها وذلك في العام الدراسي (2021/2022 ) وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن غالبية رؤساء الأقسام من ذوي الخبرة من ( 5 الى 20 ) ومن الدرجة العلمية محاضر بلغت نسبتهم (21% و 23%) وهي الأعلى من نسب رؤساء الأقسام .كما اظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق دالة للأداء رؤساء الأقسام العلمية تعزى لمتغيرات الخبرة العلمية والدرجة العلمية وبلد التخرج وهذا يعكس أن الجميع باختلاف درجاتهم وخبرتهم وثقافتهم والدول التي درسوا بها يتأثرون بواقعهم داخل إدارة اقسامهم، كما اظهرت الدراسة أن هناك عديد الإشكاليات التي تعوق عمل رؤساء الأقسام العلمية منها ماهي مادية كالأجهزة والمعدات ومنها ماهي غير مادية كعدم الانسجام وضعف المناخ الجامعي الإيجابي .
