    دأب النحاة العرب في تأليفهم النحوي على عقد مقدمة تتضمن الحديث عن المصطلحات التمهيدية الأساس في النحو العربي (اللغة، الكلام، الكلمة، القول ...)؛ بعدّها المرجع الإبستمولوجي الممهد والمسهل لفهم تفريعات مختلف الأبواب النحوية التي هي لب مادتهم التي يشتغلون عليها، ولقد استند النحاة العرب في تحديد مفاهيم هذه المصطلحات وضبطها إلى استقراء الواقع اللغوي، فأثمر ذلك الجهد درسا نحويا منظما تنظيما علميا دقيقا. والسؤال الذي نتوخى الإجابة عنه في هذا المقال هو: ما مضامين هذه المصطلحات التمهيدية؟ وما الفروقات التي أقامها النحاة بينها؟ وما دورها في فهم مختلف الأبواب النحوية؟.
وقد أمكننا أن نسجل بعض النتائج يأتي في مقدمتها: أن النظر النحوي نظر قائم على استقراء الواقع اللغوي، وليس نظرا مفروضا عليه، وأن مضامين هذه المصطلحات التمهيدية تؤسس للمنطلقات المرجعية التي كان ينطلق منها النحاة، وأن هذه المصطلحات ضرورية لتوقف بقية الأبواب النحوية عليها.
Arab grammarians have consistently composed their grammar on an introduction contract that includes talking about basic introductory terms in Arabic grammar (language, speech, word, say ...) then the pioneering and facilitating epistemological reference to understanding the ramifications of the various grammatical sections that are the core of their material,which they work on. Arab grammarians based defining the concepts of these terms and controlling them on extrapolating linguistic reality, and that effort resulted in a grammatical, structured, and carefully organized scientific lesson. The question that we seek to answer in this article is: What are the implications of these introductory terms? What are the differences that the grammarians made between them? What aretheir roles in understanding the various grammatical sections?We have been able to record some of the results that come in the forefront: That grammatical consideration is based on extrapolation of linguistic reality, not an imposed view on it, that the contents of these introductory terms establish the reference points from which grammar was used, and that these terms are necessary for the rest of the grammatical sections to depend on.
