يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز الأسس المعرفية لمناهج التأليف التي استخدمها البلاغيون أو أصحاب البلاغة في شرحهم لنصوص البلاغة وأبوابها، ويجعل من كتاب "مناهج البحث البلاغي عند العرب (دراسة في الأسس المعرفية)" لعماد محمود البخيتاوي أنموذجا لهذه الدراسة، والذي تطرق إلى العديد من المناهج التي تخدم الدرس البلاغي، وتكمن الإشكالية في الإجابة عن سؤال يتمثل في: ما مدى تطبيق الباحث محمود البخيتاوي لهذه المناهج في كتابه هذا؟ وما أهم الأسس المعرفية لكل منهج؟.
وكان الهدف من البحث هو استجلاء المناهج البلاغية في الكتاب السابق؛ وشرحها وتحليلها، متّبعا في ذلك منهجا عامّا؛ تمثل في قراءة الكتاب قراءة متأنية، ثم استخراج هذه المناهج، ودراستها وتحليلها- وفقا للمنهج الوصفي التحليلي- ثم استنباط أسس كل منهج. وكانت أهم النتائج التي توصلنا إليها أن عماد البخيتاوي ركّز على الأسس المعرفية لكل منهج من المناهج التي ذكرها، وأن هذه المناهج تتمثل في: المنهج التجميعي التفسيري، والانطباعي، والتحليلي، والتقنيني المنطقي.
The aim of this research is to highlight the cognitive bases of the authorship’s methods used by rhetoricians in explaining rhetoric texts and its chapters. It makes the book “Manāhij al-baḥth al-balāghī ‘inda al-‘Arab, dirāsah fī al-usus al-ma‘rifīyah” by  ‘Imād  Bkhītāwī a model for this study, Which addressed many methods that serve the rhetorical course? The problematic lays in answering the following question: How far is researcher Mahmoud al - Bkhitawi applying these methods in his book? What is the most important cognitive base of each method?
   The aim of the research was to clarify rhetorical approaches in the previous book; as well as explaining and analysing them, following a general approach; which consisted on reading the book carefully, extracting these method, studying them and analysing them - according to the analytical descriptive approach - and then developing the bases of each method. The most important finding was that Imad al-Bkhitawi focused on the cognitive bases of each of the method he mentioned, namely: cumulative and interpretative method, impressionist, normative and logical.
