تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى دراسة وتحليل المؤشرات البيئية للنقل المستدام في الجزائر وهذا للدور الفعال الذي تلعبه نظم النقل المستدامة والصديقة للبيئة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وقد تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي كأداة لإثراء البحث، حيث تبين من خلال الدراسة إن قطاع النقل يحتل أهمية بالغة في الاقتصاد الجزائري ومن أهم القطاعات المستهلكة للطاقة والمسببة للاحتباس الحراري وللتلوث البيئي جراء الانبعاثات الغازية الدفيئة الناتجة عن احتراق الوقود الأحفوري نتيجة استهلاك قطاع النقل للطاقة وبالخصوص غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون وغاز الميثان، ورغم السياسات والإجراءات التي اتخذتها الجزائر للحفاظ على البيئة وعلى التغيرات المناخية ومصادقتها على العديد من الاتفاقات الدولية بشأن تغير المناخ إلا إن نسبة انبعاثات الغازات الدفيئة الناتجة عن قطاع النقل في تزايد مستمر، إضافة إلى الآلاف من الأرواح التي يحصدها القطاع نتيجة لحوادث المرور وما يترتب عنها من ضرر بالأفراد وبالصحة العامة في ظل الازدياد المضطرد لحضيرة العربات وعدم تناسبها مع شبكة الطرق الحالية.
This research paper aims to study and analyze the environmental indicators of sustainable transport in Algeria, this study is inspired from the role of the clean transport system in achieving sustainable development. so that we rely on the descriptive analytical approach to enrich this research, The study concluded that the transport sector is extremely important in the Algerian economy and is one of the most important sectors consuming energy, and causing environmental pollution due to the burning of the fossil fuels, that gives carbon dioxide and methane gases, so that the proportion of greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector is constantly increasing, despite Algeria's policies and measures, including the ratification of many international agreements to protect the environment and climate changes, More over this sector causes bad effects on either individuals or public health especially With an increasing number of cars that does not go hand in hand with the current road network
