انطلاقا من مبادئ الثورة الجزائرية التي أقرتها مواثيقها،والمتمثلة في تصفية الاستعمار،ومحاربة الامبريالية العالمية،وحق الشعوب المستعمرة في تقرير مصيرها دون أي ميز عرقي أو ديني نشطت الدبلوماسية الجزائرية بعد الاستقلال في جميع الميادين والمحافل الدولية،ولاسيما في القارة الإفريقية،ومضت بكل واقعية في الطرح،والتعاون الجاد مع كل الأطراف الفاعلة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية لدعم استقلال البلدان الإفريقية،واستكمال التحرر السياسي بالتحرر الاقتصادي،والتخلص من التبعية لكل أشكال الاستعمار الجديد. ومثل عقد الستينات وبداية عقد السبعينات أوج النشاط الدبلوماسي في المحافل الدولية،وشكلت قضية إفريقيا محور وصلب اهتمام الآلة الدبلوماسية الجزائرية. فقد استطاعت بفضل حنكتها الطويلة وتجربتها الكبيرة من المساهمة في تصفية الاستعمارسمح الرصيد الثوري للجزائر بانفتاحها بعد الاستقلال،وسطع نجمها أكثر في عهدي الرئيسين بن بلة أحمد،وهواري بومدين،فترجم الأول سياسته الدبلوماسية اتجاه إفريقيا في تدعيم فكرة التحرر الشعوب الإفريقية داخل إطار المنظمة الإفريقية فكانت الجزائر بحق النجم الثاقب للقارة دبلوماسيا على عهد حكم أول رئيس للجزائر،وفي نفس الدرب مضى خلفه الرئيس بومدين مستفيدا من تراجع واختفاء العديد من الزعامات الكلاسيكية لدول العالم الثالث في إفريقيا وآسيا نتيجة الوفاة،أو نتيجة الانقلابات العسكرية المختلفة فكان ظل تأثيره دبلوماسيا على الأحداث ومجرياتها في إفريقيا أكثر وأطول خلال الفترة الممتدة بين 1965-1973.
Based on the principles of the Algerian Revolution, which were endorsed by its charters, namely, decolonization and the fight against global imperialism, and the right of colonial peoples to self-determination without any ethnic or religious distinction. Algerian diplomacy was active after independence in all international fields and forums, particularly in The African continent has proceeded realistically in the introduction, serious cooperation with all international and regional actors and organizations in support of the independence of African countries. The 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s represented the height of diplomatic activity in international forums, and the issue of Africa was the focus and solidity of the Algerian diplomatic machine. With its openness after independence, and its star more in the reigns of Presidents Ben Bella and Boumediene, the first translated its diplomatic policy towards Africa in strengthening the idea of liberation African peoples within the framework of the African Organization, Algeria was truly the star of the continent diplomatically during the period between 1962-1973.
