كلما تطورت الدولة تكنولوجياً، ظهرت مشكلات، وقد تكون على قدر كبير من التعقيد، وتقع على رأسها مشكلات البيئة. لقد أحدثت التقنيات الحديثة والصناعات المتطورة اضرار كبيرة للبيئة حيث أصبحت تهدد حياة الانسان، ويتد ضررها الى النبات والكائنات الحية، ويؤدي استنزاف المواد الطبيعية. و ان انتشار الحروب في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشرق اوربا أدى الى دمار بيئي كبير، ولا يقتصر ذلك على مناطق النزاع، بل تمتد آثاره الى مناطق أخرى، خصوصاً المجاورة له، ولكن تبقى مناطق الحروب والنزاعات هي المتضررة بصورة مباشرة بيئياً، كما هو الحال في العراق وسوريا واليمن واخيراً في أوكرانيا، حيث اصبح التلوث البيئي خطراً يهدد جميع دول العالم، لذلك بدأت الدول تتم بالبيئة، وتعقد لذلك المؤتمرات سواء على المستوى الداخلي (الوطني)، ام على المستوى الإقليمي، ام على المستوى العالمي. والهدف من وراء تلك المؤتمرات، استخدام وسائل وآليات قانونية تحافظ بها على البيئة، وتمنع الاعتداء عليها، خصوصاً و ان المشكلات البيئية هي مشكلات كونية عابرة للحدود؛ فالتصدي لها يتطلب تكاتف وتعاون بين الدول.
 تهدف هاته الورقة البحثية إلى التعريف بالدراسات السابقة باعتبارها من أهم الركائز العلمية التي يتم الاعتماد عليها في مشروع البحث العلمي، كونها تُعد مصدراً غنياً من خلال بلورة إشكالية البحث المُعتزم إنجازه، وتحديد أبعاده ومجالاته، وإغنائه بالمعارف والنتائج التي توصل إليها الآخرون في هذا المجال. مع إيضاح الأسس المنهجية في توظيف الدراسات السابقة خصوصاً ما يتعلق بالملخص والتقييم والتوظيف.
 Abstract This search paper aims at introducing the previous studies which are considered as one of the most important scientific pillars that are relied upon the scientific research project .It is a rich source through which the problem of the research to be carried out is elaborated, and its dimensions and fields are limited, and enriched it with knowledge and results reached by others in this field, with clarifying the methodological basics in employing the previous studies ,especially in regarding the summary, evaluation and employment.
