شهدت الجزائر بعد الإحتلال الفرنسي تطورات مست مختلف الميادين السياسية، الإقتصادية،الثقافية والإجتماعية بالخصوص مجال دراستنا، حيث طبقت إدارة الإحتلال الفرنسي تشريعات تهدف إلى زعزعة بنية المجتمع وتفكيك القبيلة في الريف، والذي إنعكس بدوره على المدينة من خلال إحداث تحولات إجتماعية، ومن نتائج السياسة الفرنسية إستفحال ظاهرة الهجرة الخارجية عامة والداخلية خاصة من الريف صوب المدينة، والهجرة الأوروبية العكسية. وعليه تسعى الدراسة إلى كشف ملامح التحولات الإجتماعية المتأثرة بالهجرة الداخلية على القبيلة في الريف وعلى اللأسرة المهاجرة في المدينة. تهدف الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين الهجرة الداخلية والتغيرات الإجتماعية في الجزائر بين منطقتي الجذب المتمثلة في المدينة و منطقة الطرد المتمثلة في الريف، مع تتبع أهم المحطات في السياسة الفرنسية الرامية إلى ضرب نواة المجتمع القبيلة والأسرة. معرجين على نمو السكان البناء الإجتماعي قبل وبعد الإستقلال وأثر الإستطان في ذالك ونتائجه، وواقع الهجرة بعد 1962 والعوامل التي دفعت لهذه الظاهرة. وواقع الأسرة الريفية في المدينة مع ذكر عوامل جذب المهاجرين.
