تعد الدراسات القرآنية أحد أهم المجالات اللغوية وأبرزها، وقد بلغت هذه الدراسات غاية في الرقي سواء جانبها النظري أو التطبيقي، واستثمرت العلوم الأخرى خدمة لها، كعلم النحو والبلاغة والأصوات...
وقد حاولنا من خلال هذا البحث أن نبرز جانبا من هذه العلاقات بين العلوم والفنون المختلفة؛ يتمثل في دور الإعراب وتأثيره في تحديد مواطن الوقف وبيان أنواعه، فقد اهتم علماء اللغة بعلم الوقف، وبدلوا جهودا يشهد لها في بيان ما يحسن الوقوف عليه في القرآن الكريم وما ينبغي اجتنابه.
وكتاب القطع والائتناف لأبي جعفر النحاس أحد الأمثلة لما قدمه أهل اللغة في هذا الباب، وهدفنا من هذا البحث إبراز قيمة هذا الكتاب بين مؤلفات هذا العلم، ومنهجه في التوسل بالمسائل النحوية للوصول إلى المعاني، ثم تحديد موطن الوقف ونوعه.
ورأينا تقسيم هذا البحث إلى قسمين: نظري وتطبيقي، أدرجنا في القسم الأول تعريفات نظرية تتعلق بموضوع البحث، أما القسم التطبيقي فاتجهنا فيه مباشرة إلى تحليل النماذج المختارة من الكتاب.
وقد ختمنا البحث بنتائج توصلنا إليها من خلال البحث والاستقراء، وهي مدرجة في مواضعها.
Quranic studies are one of the most important and most prominent linguistic fields, and these studies have reached a very sophisticated, both theoretical and applied side, and invested other sciences to serve it, such as grammar, rhetoric and sounds ...
We have tried through this research to highlight some of these relations between science and various arts; is the role of express and its impact in determining the pause and indicate the types. Linguists have paid attention to pause science, and made efforts attested to indicate what improves standing in the Koran and what It should be avoided.
The book of cutting and reassignment of Abu Ja'far al-Nahas is one example of what the people of the language have provided in this section. We considered the division of this research into two sections: theoretical and practical, we included in the first section theoretical definitions related to the subject of research, while the applied section went directly to the analysis of selected models of the book.
 We conclude the research with our findings through research and extrapolation, which are included in their positions
