هدفت هذه الدراسة استشراف علاقة الصحافة الإسلامية بتنمية جوانب التربية الإسلامية ماضيا وحاضرا ومستقبلا، من خلال اعتماد المنهج الوصفي والتاريخي التحليلي، وباستشراف الواقع وتحدياته، ثم التطرق للأفاق المستقبلية المنوطة بالصحافة الإسلامية في قيامها بدور تنمية جوانب التربية الإسلامية، لما لهذه الوسيلة من تأثير بارز على جموع القراء. وبناء عليه ستركز دراستنا على الإجابة على السؤال المحوي التالي: ما واقع الصحافة الإسلامية كوسيلة تعمل على تنمية جوانب التربية الإسلامية؟
ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة هو كون الصحافة الإسلامية دورا كبيرا في تنمية جوانب التربية الإسلامية باعتبارها أهم وسيلة للدعوة والإعلام، ومن خلال معالجتها لأهم القضايا التي تهم المجتمعات الإسلامية، وقد بدى هذا بارزا من خلال قراءة تاريخية في فحوى الصحافة الإسلامية ماضيا وحاضرا.
وعلى الرغم من هن أهمية هذا الدور فهي تعاني من تحديات جمة تجاه تحقيق هذه التنمية، منها مشكلة المرجعية وأزمة الكوادر الإعلامية المتخصصة، ومختلف الإشكالات الأخرى والمرتبطة بالغزو الثقافي الموجه، وأخيرا التحديات المتعلقة بمحتوى الرسالة الإعلامية في حد ذاتها بما يجعلها شبه عاجزة عن القيام بمتطلبات هذا الدور.   
This study aimed to anticipate the relationship of the Islamic press with the development of the Islamic education's aspects in the past, present and future time, using the descriptive and historical-analytical approach. The future prospects of the Islamic press has been discussed in its roles that are related to the development of Islamic education's aspects, by anticipating the reality and its challenges due to the importance of this medium of prominent impact on the masses of readers. Based on the foregoing, our study will focus on answering the following main question: What is the reality of the Islamic press as a mean that develops aspects of Islamic education? One of the most important findings of the study is that the Islamic press has a great role in developing aspects of Islamic education as the most important means of advocacy and media, and by addressing the most important issues related to Islamic societies, this is evidenced by the historical study of the contents of the Islamic press in the past and present. Despite its effective role, it faces many challenges towards achieving this development, including the problem of reference and the crisis of specialized media figures. And various other problems related to the directed cultural invasion, finally the challenges related to the content of the media message itself, which makes it almost unable to fulfill the requirements of this role
