كان لظهور الحركة الإصلاحية في الجزائر الأثر الكبير في تبلور الوعي الوطني والثقافي، هذا الأخير الذي جسّدته جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين في مدارسها التعليمية التي انتشرت بشكل واسع، فكانت الروابط التعليمية محطّة هامة في مواصلة مسيرة الحركة الإصلاحية، ومن خلالها يتم تثبيت الهوية الوطنية التي شكّلت حلقة هامة في بناء النهضة الوطنية. ومن هذا المنطلق تظهر أهمية هذه المدارس التعليمية الحرّة، التي سعى من خلالها جلّ رجال الإصلاح إلى إيصال الفكر الثقافي إلى الشعب الجزائري، مبرزين في ذلك المبادئ والقيم الدينية، الثقافية والاجتماعية. وهذا ما كانت عليه مدرسة " دار القرآن " بمنطقة بني هديل ( عين غرابة ) بتلمسان، أين سعى فيها أبناء المنطقة إلى إبراز وحدتهم الثقافية والاجتماعية، متأثّرين في ذلك بالتعليم الإصلاحي الذي كان يُقام بمدرسة " دار الحديث " بتلمسان، هذا التأثير الذي بدا واضحا في تلك الدروس التعليمية والنشاطات الثقافية التي كان يواظب عليها أبناء المنطقة. شكّل هذا النشاط الإصلاحي مصدر قلق للإدارة الاستعمارية التي كانت ترى فيه خطرا على مشروعها الاستعماري في الجزائر، وبهذا فرضت كل أنواع العقوبات والتضييق على أنشطة مدارس التعليم العربي، ونصب كل العوائق والصعوبات لإفشال مشروع بنائها وتأسيسها، وبالرغم من ذلك إلا أن جمعية العلماء المسلمين واصلت مشروعها القائم على بناء مدارس التعليم العربي ليس بالمدن فقط وإنما حتى في بعض المناطق والقرى، وهذا ما كانت عليه حالة مدرسة " دار القرآن " التي حملت على عاتقها مسؤولية إحياء الهوية الوطنية بالمنطقة.

This reform activity was a concern for the colonial administration which she saw as a danger to her colonial project in Algeria, And so i imposed all kinds of sanctions and restrictions On the activities of Arab education schools, And set up all the obstacles and difficulties to thwart the project of building and establishing, Nevertheless, the Association of Muslim Scholars continued its project to build Arab education schools Not only in cities, but even in some areas and villages, And that's what the case of "Dar al-Qur'an" school was like Which took responsibility for reviving the national identity of the region.
